Superior Home Inspections LLC
All of our home inspection services abide by the InterNACHI Standards of Practice (SOP) and Code of Ethics (COE). During the inspection, we visually assess the condition and operation of all of the home’s safely accessible areas.
If we suspect improper insulation or moisture intrusion in the home, then we will do a Thermal Imaging scan. With an infrared camera, we can find cool spots and moisture behind home surfaces not visible to the naked eye to verify our suspicions.
A home is a major purchase, so don’t go into it blindly. During a Buyer’s Inspection, we uncover the home’s hidden defects and help you understand its operation and maintenance requirements. With this information, you can make repair and purchase decisions confidently.
Selling a home can be stressful, but a Pre-Listing Inspection can prepare you by providing you with all of the information to disclose about the home during your negotiations. It also provides you with an opportunity to make repairs to the home before listing.
New Construction Inspection
Before a newly built home undergoes the final walk-through with the builder, it is important that it is already up to standard and move-in ready. During a New Construction Inspection, we find the oversights that need to be addressed in order for this to happen.
New Construction Phase Inspections
New Construction Phase Inspections occur periodically throughout the building process, helping ensure that unnoticed defects don’t get sealed away behind finishing materials. We will inspect the building after as many phases as requested.
11th Month Warranty Inspection
If your newly built home was sold with a 12-month builder’s warranty, then an 11th Month Warranty Inspection can help you take advantage of it. We inspect the home in the month before your warranty is over, showing you exactly what constructional defects need to be repaired.
After your Buyer’s Inspection, you will work with your seller to decide what repairs should be made before closing. A Re-Inspection can give you the additional peace of mind you need that all agreements have been honored before you move forward.
We offer Radon Testing through a professional and reputable third-party. Radon is a cancer-causing gas that can rise from the soil underneath a home and become trapped inside. It is odorless and colorless, so testing with professional equipment is required.
